Joan Gerry

Joan Gerry born in England, immigrated to Australia in 1970.

Joan has lived in Dayboro for the past 30 years and in that time has been an active member of the Dayboro Gallery for the past 24 years

Joan studied art under the well known artist Pia Tareen for 9 years and a further 7 years with artist Dale March.

Joan loves to paint in the impressionist style; she has exhibited her paintings at the Riverside Centre and the School of Arts on several occasions.

More recently her body of abstract works has proved very popular, as well as her works in clay depicting native animals; the echidnas are most sort after.
